Harrington Street Renovations: Enhancing Inspiration!

Harrington Street Renovations: Enhancing Inspiration!

The world may be at a standstill at this moment in time with the difficulties COVID-19 has presented us all. HOWEVER, never fear….we are full steam ahead here at Inspire Fitness Academy.

Sam Godfrey, Charity Manager, is continuing to keep the team working as hard as ever to provide YOU with all the classes and events that we can possibly fit into an online schedule. Inspire Fitness Academy continues to be about supporting our local community through our classes and events, and we want to remind you that we are here for you throughout this tough time as we continue to look ahead to the better times around the corner.

Speaking of better times, game-changing renovations are being made to provide our community with a safe and versatile environment for all occasions. After receiving funding from Sport England, as well as adding our own funds to the project, we are excited to update you on your new facilities that are currently being installed.

Sam says, “ Our plan is to renovate the upstairs to make it more COVID-friendly, more accessible, and can offer a greater variety of support to our community.”
“ This is going to be through such things as meeting rooms for businesses, classrooms and educational spaces, a larger space for a greater variety of fitness sessions, and disabled toilet facilities and showers.”

Community is at the heart of everything we do; and for as much as we try to provide communities with, we could not do this without the support we receive for projects such as this one from our charity partners and local businesses. We are appreciative of EVERYONE who has always believed in, and supported, the work of Inspire Fitness Academy.

“ A big thanks to Wards Derby Skip Hire, Scrap Metal & Waste Management for their ongoing support and for making sure all the waste from our renovation will be disposed of correctly. We cannot thank them enough for their support since day one,” said Sam. “Other big thanks to Simon Maples from Howson’s, a local joinery company. They have contributed to ensuring we can get a spar bar and bag to continue to develop the hand-eye coordination of our youngsters. We want to thank Howson’s for their support, and for their interest in supporting us on a long-term basis.”

We look forward to when we can all be in each other’s company again. For now, keep happy and keep healthy.

Stay Inspired!
